Duties include, but not limited to: Follows instructions
and guidance from Site Manager, established workers, all applicable Federal,
State, and local regulations, technical orders and company policies; reports all
aircraft discrepancies to dispatch and manager, provides servicing operations
to all visiting aircraft upon request and site capabilities; replenish air in
tires; connects refuel/de-fueler hoses from service truck to aircraft, monitors
fuel transfer; deice aircraft as requested, fleet service as well. Perform
aircraft jacking operations via aircraft jacks, bags. Basic servicing of
company and government furnished vehicles, facility, work area and equipment
housekeeping. Performs and documents inspections on all systems previously
mentioned.  Operates several “special” vehicles
such as tow-tractors, deicers and hi-lifts. Occasionally, performs aircraft towing
operations as wing-walker, tow driver or tow-super. Marshals aircraft into and
out of parking via hand-signals; provides airfield routing via “Follow-Me”
truck, and responds to, or provide services requested for potential/declared
In-flight emergencies and runway extraction per installation policies and
guidelines. Operate various types of ground support equipment (high/low
pressure pneumatic compressors, gas cylinders; light carts and generators.
Extreme situational awareness around operating aircraft engines (turbines,
turboprops, etc.), and moving flight control surfaces (ailerons, elevators,
flaps, rudders and other hydraulically actuated components). Adheres to all
safety rules, regulations and practices in and around hydrocarbon vapor
operations. Observant for any malfunctioning, leaking, broken equipment and
facilities.

Job Requirements:

Must maintain a neat appearance and exercise customer relation skills that reinforce good order and discipline recognized on any military installation.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Must pass criminal, credit background check.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance before first day of employment.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license in order to obtain US Government issued airfield driver’s license.
Must be available 24/7, any shift, full-time or part-time.
Wear all required safety gear to include, composite toed shoes, orange reflective jacket/vest, minimum rated hearing, eye protection, reflective belt; hard-hats as task specified.
HS diploma REQUIRED; DD214 with Honorable Discharge in lieu of HS diploma acceptable.
Prefer minimum 2 years, verifiable experience in any of the following:

Ramp agent; military aircraft Crewchief with flight line experience, aircraft ground handling, or FAA equivalent certifications; safe maintenance practice, well-rounded knowledge of hand and powered tools.

Class A or B CDL a plus!

Perform tasks in various weather conditions, able to stand for hours at a time and/or walk long distances throughout entire shift.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
Push/pull heavy, rolling equipment with assistance.
Must pass colorblind test.
Able to operate equipment up to 74 feet.
Medically cleared to perform contracted duties.

Salary Range: 25.62-25.62
